11/04/2019 Comic Working.

One more reminder that I’ll be at the Hammond Public Library FanFest this Saturday, November 9th!

I’ve gotten to work on a new cover for the colored Incident at the Game Store, starting it during my livestream last weekend.

I managed to arrange my pages and create a temporary cover to order a print proof from Ka-Blam Digital Printing. I likely won’t have the colored edition up for sale until next year, so It’ll probably debut at my next convention.

I’ll be super busy with my day job so my art activity might be slower anywhere you follow me so updates might be more sporadic.

I’ll probably see you next year if there isn’t much news to say.

New Cards

I don’t have much to speak about in terms of things I’ve done over the week. I’m still waiting for the prints of Shirley’s Day, so as I wait for that I’m working on this animatic music video. Due to some filing issues, I had to spend most of the week renaming and reassigning missing footage files. I only wanted to add captions but things pop up and you gotta deal with them I suppose.

A few things I’ve got done over the week:

After seven years of not doing it, I finally got some new business cards printed courtesy of Primo Print. I mostly used my Gogh the Goat Wizard painting since this is my shtick for right now. It’s a bit boring but my cards have the right information now.

News of the World

There hasn’t been much for me to talk about these weeks.

For those who haven’t heard before, I finished my comic, Shirley’s Day, and it’s stated to release for print around September 11th (you probably will need a reminder).

But, you can buy a digital version on Etsy to support me! It’s 16 pages of content, which includes some behind the scenes stuff that I felt I couldn’t post online due to the nature of the story I was telling.

In this time, I’m in the process of working on many different things:

7/15/2018 The Home Stretch

Bad news is that I made slightly less progress than I wanted on my stream painting this week. It’s not horrible, I managed I put down some rough colors for the characters, but I feel like I need to examine the color relationships a bit more.

But the good news is that, I’ve finished all of the interiors of Shirley’s Day! All that is left is to finish work on the cover, arrange the pages for mass print and I can finally have it complete!

Some sketches I made over the last week but I still haven’t posted on this site yet.

5/12/2018 Streaming News

I streamed again today. I got some new progress done, added Leprechaun Squire and did a bit more refining where it needs to be, values could use more work and the texture variety is lacking.
I won’t be stream next week as I’ll be at Anime Central hanging out. I’ll be streaming the week after though.
I thought I would get my comic done by now but other freelance opportunities and my stupid procrastination and perfectionism has put the comic in a perpetual 90% finished state that I can’t push through. I’m realizing this now and I’m gonna just let go, edit my lettering and get to drawing a cover and making my stupid zine already!

4/30/2018 Even More Art Stuff

More progress on my Rat Kingdom illustration painting for my stream last Saturday!

A tiny bit of color edits I had time to look at for Gogh the Goat Wizard. I’m not as confident with my color choices if I don’t have markers to do the palette choosing for me.

Some other experiments in painting over my old pencil artwork. I’m not feeling the values to be honest with myself.

An more older sketches.
