There hasn’t been much for me to talk about these weeks.
For those who haven’t heard before, I finished my comic, Shirley’s Day, and it’s stated to release for print around September 11th (you probably will need a reminder).
But, you can buy a digital version on Etsy to support me! It’s 16 pages of content, which includes some behind the scenes stuff that I felt I couldn’t post online due to the nature of the story I was telling.
In this time, I’m in the process of working on many different things:
You know all those raccoons and other anthropomorphic animal sketches that’s been the only things I draw in my sketchbooks for the past three or more years? I’m finally writing up a comic story for that and compiling it in a way that makes a shred of sense! My rough elevator pitch for this comic is this: Blackmask is a fantasy comic about an anthropomorphic raccoon family called the Blackmasks, running a store and making a business traveling the world and selling rare artifacts and treasures that they find.
My Rat Painting streams are still in progress. I did a bit of refining on Queen Lily’s gem encrusted belt. Next time, I’ll hit the necklaces and hopefully do something to make her fur less muddy looking.
I’m making new business cards as I haven’t updated them in eight years!
I’m editing an animatic I did for freelance, which I will hopefully release around late September
Besides all of this, I want to put more effort into improving my website and web presence more. What would you be interested in seeing from me? Drop me a message or a comment.
